A National Electrical Manufacturers Association or even NEMA occurs as U.S.-based association, which was created on September 1, 1926, when the Associated Manufacturers of Electrical Supplies and the Electric Power Club merged. These are headquartered inside Rosslyn, Virginia. It sets several most common standards used in electrical products among its over 400 members.
It is responsible "NEMA heads" (a nature & severity of outdoor lightly fixture it created) and the wattage/lamp nature and severity identificatiin stickers seen on streetlights.
